My grandfather Etienne, who worked the land all his life, has passed away. And even if I have a thousand memories of him, mostly associated with the vineyard, there was no time to teach me this craft, and anyway at the time I wasn’t that open to it. My mother plays the role of intermediary between the generations.

My grandmother Paulette, born into a family of fruit and vegetable producers, on rich fertile soil, was astonished by the stony ground of Corconne.

At first horrified by my decision to take up wine-making, I’m sure that now she would be proud of what we have created. She passed away the year of my first vintage. I shared my doubts and ambitions with her, and I owe her much. Patience and perseverance

Finally my father, doctor and writer, who like his brothers harvested grapes and had to be pulled by his ears back to the benches of the University in Autumn.

My two brothers, always ready to lend a hand, part of the furniture.
